Beneficiary List
A Beneficiary List is a list prepared by the Panchayat containing the names and details of persons who are eligible to receive benefits under various welfare schemes, financial assistance programmes, housing schemes, pension schemes, agricultural assistance programmes, and other similar schemes.
The list is prepared after verifying the applications based on the criteria prescribed by the Government. The following information is generally included in a Beneficiary List:
- Name of the Beneficiary
- Address
- Ward Number
- Name of the Scheme
- Benefit Sanctioned
The Beneficiary List is approved by the Panchayat Committee and displayed publicly in a transparent manner. It plays an important role in ensuring that the benefits of various schemes are provided fairly to eligible persons.
