Ayurveda Hospital
The Ayurveda dispensary under the Perinad Grama Panchayat provides the public with various services that emphasize health preservation alongside comprehensive Ayurvedic treatment. Services available free of charge include patient consultations, medical treatment, counseling (including lifestyle management), and therapeutic yoga.
A new building, constructed at a cost of ₹1.98 crore, was inaugurated during the 2022-23 financial year to provide enhanced services to the public; facilities for inpatient care, Panchakarma, and physiotherapy have been set up within it. In 2023-24, the facility was upgraded to an AYUSH Health and Wellness Centre, securing a grant of ₹5 lakh for the construction of a new yoga hall. Additionally, free yoga training is provided at the centre by a qualified instructor, and as part of outreach activities, ten yoga clubs are currently operating across various wards and schools.
