MGNREGS
Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) is being effectively implemented in the Panchayat with the objective of ensuring livelihood security and creating sustainable employment opportunities for rural people. Under the scheme, various developmental activities such as infrastructure development, road construction, water conservation projects, agriculture-related initiatives, and environmental protection works are being carried out. In addition to providing timely employment to rural households seeking work, the scheme also plays a significant role in promoting the social and economic empowerment of women. MGNREGS continues to contribute greatly to the overall development of the Panchayat and to improving the quality of life of the rural community.
